The Mariam Nawaz transport program rollout occurs in three phases, aiming to guarantee all eligible girls’ colleges receive adequate transport support. The first phase distributed buses to 19 tehsils previously lacking reliable transportation options, including

  • Bhakkar
  • Sialkot
  • Chiniot
  • Kamalia
  • Malkwal

and several other regions. This addition will significantly assist students who previously depended on irregular or expensive transport to attend classes.

In the second phase, by February 2025, more buses will be allocated to colleges in

  1. Nowshera Warkan
  2. Dina, Yazman
  3. Pindi Bhattian
  4. and additional regions

This stage focuses on extending the program’s reach to less-developed areas. Finally, the third phase, scheduled for March-April 2025, will distribute 32 coaches and two additional buses to 35 tehsils, ensuring reliable transport access across all regions.
