Good News! Chief Minister Insulin Program in Punjab Started Now 2025

Good news for the people of Punjab! The Government of Punjab, under the leadership of Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has launched the Chief Minister Insulin Program, aimed at providing insulin to children with diabetes. This program delivers insulin directly to their homes without any hassle. To facilitate this, the Government of Punjab issues a special card that families can use to receive insulin regularly.

The insulin will be provided by a company called Gold Chain, which ensures delivery by following SOPs and safety protocols set by the government. CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif announced that the insulin program will begin as a pilot project in phases, starting in Lahore and three other districts in Punjab, for diabetic patients.

To access the insulin, you can either download a mobile application or dial a helpline number to submit your application. This program covers both urban and rural areas across Punjab, including remote villages. In rural areas, health clinics will carry out the program, with staff performance managed and monitored by a special committee.

Chief Minister Insulin Program for Type 1 Diabetes

Chief Minister Insulin Program, through which children with Type 1 diabetes will receive insulin at home. Special cards will be issued to these childerns to ensure a regular supply of insulin. The insulin will be supplied by a government-approved company in accordance with cold chain protocols and other SOPs.

The pilot phase of the Chief Minister Insulin Program for All project will start in three districts, including Lahore. Type 1 diabetes patients can apply through a new app or helpline that the Punjab government will launch soon for insulin patients to submit their applications.

The decision has also been made to grant Maryam Nawaz Health Clinics the status of BHUs to enhance health services in remote regions. Additionally, a framework to manage health staff performance and KPIs for evaluation has been approved.
