    Punjab Budget 2022-23 | DRA New Pay Scales 2022

    In the 2022-2023 budget, the following assistance packages are proposed for Punjab civil servants and pensioners;

    15% Special Assistance 2022  :

    Provision of a 15% special allowance on the current BPS-2017  base salary to all Punjab civil servants from  July 1, 2022. Minister of Finance Miftah Ismail informed about the final decision to increase the salaries of civil servants, which remains the same as in the budget for 2022-2023. It is also discussed that the IMF has nothing to do with wage increases. A wage increase circular will be issued to all government departments shortly.

    Revision of the New Tariff Scales-2022 

    For civil servants of Punjab, special allowances   2016, 17, 18, 19 and 21  will be merged into the 2017 base pay scales from July 1, 2022. Thus, the new BPS-2022 pay scales will be introduced.
